The Maxwell Tasman V2 series is built for serious small-to-mid-sized boats needing a compact, rope-friendly anchoring solution. Improving on the already proven Tasman design, the V2 models feature a powerful dual-speed motor which increases anchor deployment speed by 15-20%, enabling faster and safer anchoring. A newly designed motor cover provides superior protection against moisture, dust, and environmental factors that could affect performance over time. Designed for quick installation and easy operation, each model is preloaded with rope and chain to match its motor power and drum capacity — no guesswork required.
With fully enclosed motors and a narrow mounting footprint, the Tasman V2 is ideal for under-deck mounting in tight spaces. These winches are quiet, clean, and especially well-suited for rope-heavy anchoring where traditional vertical windlasses aren’t practical.

Tasman V2 6-6 – 600W, preloaded with 80m of 6mm MAX rope + 10m of 6mm DIN766 chain.
For boats up to 7.5m. -
Tasman V2 8-6 – 1000W, preloaded with 150m of 6mm MAX rope + 10m of 6mm DIN766 chain.
For boats up to 10m. -
Tasman V2 8-8 – 1000W, preloaded with 100m of 8mm MAX rope + 10m of 8mm DIN766 chain.
