The Maxwell RC8 is a reliable, high-performance windlass designed for boats up to 13 metres. With a full stainless steel body, powerful motor options, and Maxwell’s patented Wave Design™ chainwheel, it’s built to handle heavier tackle and tougher anchoring demands—whether you’re moored off Great Barrier Island or pulling up in Westhaven Marina.
Available in multiple configurations, the RC8 offers two motor sizes:

RC8-6 (600W) – for boats up to 9.5m, using 6–7mm chain

RC8-8 (1000W) – for boats up to 13m, using 6–7mm or 8mm chain
Both versions are available with 12V or 24V motors, and a choice of standard or extended deck clearance, allowing a tailored fit for your vessel.
